Carol Emslie is a Professor of Nursing at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), co-Director of the Research Centre for Health (ReaCH), and leads the Substance Use research group. She joined GCU in 2012 and was part of the Scottish Crucible leadership development program. Her research focuses on gender dynamics in alcohol consumption, policy impact, and marginalized populations. Key areas include alcohol marketing targeting women, LGBTQ+ health, and homelessness-related alcohol issues.
