Carmen Simonsen is an Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo, with a concurrent 20% appointment as a Psychologist Specialist at the TIPS team, Special Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, Oslo University Hospital. Her research focuses on reducing stigma and promoting recovery in severe mental illness through balanced knowledge about long-term outcomes and development of recovery-oriented interventions.
