JUAN C RUIZ RUIZ

Dr. JUAN C RUIZ RUIZ is a Professor in the Department of Behavioural Science Methodology at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, Universitat de València. He is affiliated with three research groups: TMEIC (Psychological assessment and intervention in cognition in mental disorder), Rehapsi (Psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery in psychosis and bipolar disorder), and VALSME (Valencia mental health and stigma).

• Education:
  • PhD in Psychology (1991) from Universitat de València, thesis titled Simulación y verificación empírica de las propiedades de la activación, supervised by Dr. Salvador Algarabel González.

His research focuses on behavioral psychology, cognitive disorders, and psychosocial rehabilitation, particularly in the context of mental health stigma and intervention methodologies for psychosis and bipolar disorder. He contributes to interdisciplinary projects through collaborations with specialized research groups.
