Dr. Carmen Enss is a Research Associate at the University of Bamberg’s Chair of Heritage Conservation, where she has worked since 2017. She leads the BMBF-funded UrbanMetaMapping consortium and contributes to the COST Action European Middle Class Mass Housing. Her expertise lies in post-war urban reconstruction, particularly in Munich and Italy, with a focus on reconciling monument preservation with city development.
