Dr. Carly Lassig is a Senior Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in the School of Education, part of the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education & Social Justice. Her work focuses on inclusive education, disability inclusion, gifted education, and creativity in learning environments. She holds a PhD in Inclusive Education from QUT and a Bachelor of Education (Honours) from Griffith University.
Her research explores social justice in education, parent perspectives on disability, and pedagogical strategies such as Universal Design for Learning. She leads professional development initiatives for schools and higher education institutions, emphasizing differentiation and gifted education. She serves on the editorial board of the Australasian Journal of Gifted Education and is affiliated with QUT's Centre for Inclusive Education.
