Dr. Carlton Waterhouse is a Professor of Law and founding director of the Environmental and Climate Justice Center at Howard University School of Law. He holds joint appointments in the Office of Administration and Operations and serves as a member of the National Academy of Sciences Climate Crossroads Committee. His expertise spans environmental law, climate justice, and reparations for historic injustices. He previously served in the Biden-Harris Administration as Deputy Assistant Administrator at the U.S. EPA's Office of Land and Emergency Management.
