Carl Donakowski is a Professor of Music (Cello and Chamber Music) and String Area Coordinator at James Madison University's School of Music in Harrisonburg, VA. He holds a distinguished career as a cellist, performing internationally across four continents and appearing at renowned venues like the Kennedy Center and Tanglewood Music Festival. His artistic work includes membership in the Arcos Trio, supported by a National Endowment for the Arts grant for recordings of Latin American piano trios.
