Carl A. Vater, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Saint Vincent College. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America (2017), with additional degrees from Villanova University and Saint Vincent College. His research focuses on medieval philosophy, particularly the metaphysics and philosophy of God in the works of St. Bonaventure, St. Thomas Aquinas, and Bl. John Duns Scotus. He teaches courses such as Medieval Philosophy, Philosophical Anthropology, and Logic and Theory of Knowledge.
