Carin Robinson is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Hood College, where she has taught since fall 2009. Based in Rosenstock Hall, Room 108, she can be reached at robinsonc@hood.edu or 301-696-3719 during Monday office hours (3:30-4:30).
Her educational background includes:
- Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University
- M.A. in Media and Public Affairs from George Washington University
- B.A. in Communication from Bethel University
Dr. Robinson's research centers on American political behavior, with deep expertise in U.S. electoral dynamics, news media influence, and religious-political movements. Her co-authored book Onward Christian Soldiers: The Religious Right in American Politics (2011) established her as a key scholar in this field, complemented by peer-reviewed journal publications and contributions to edited volumes on elections.
