Capri Rosenberg

Capri Rosenberg is a Professor of Art History at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where she has served since 2008. She holds a Ph.D. in Art and Art History from Duke University (2000–05) and a B.A. in Humanities from Pepperdine University. Her research focuses on contemporary art criticism, postmodern aesthetics, and the cultural economics of art. Rosenberg has held teaching roles at Duke University as an Instructor and Teaching Assistant in Art, Art History, and Visual Culture departments.

Research Interests: Rosenberg’s work explores intersections between art, value systems, and cultural critique. She examines avant-garde movements, contemporary art market dynamics, and the role of artists like Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons in shaping postmodern discourse. Her analyses often address how art reflects societal anxieties and economic structures.
