Canan Vejselova Sezer

Assoc. Dr. Canan Vejselova Sezer is a Faculty Member at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of Kütahya Dumlupınar University, where she has held academic positions since 2025. Her research focuses on apoptosis in cancer cells, sphingolipid metabolism, nanoparticle-based anticancer agents, and toxicological effects of environmental chemicals.

Recent projects include boric acid protection against BPA toxicity, green-synthesized metal nanoparticles, and combinatorial therapies for chemotherapy-resistant cancers.

Her 179 publications span nanotechnology, apoptosis mechanisms, and drug development. She has received awards including the Young Woman Cancer Researcher Award and National ARGE Project Contribution Award. She supervises theses on oncological applications of phytochemicals and nanoparticle formulations.
