Cameron Gardner

Cameron Gardner is a Research Fellow at the Department of Cellular & Molecular Physiology, Yale School of Medicine. His work focuses on genetics, molecular biology, and reproductive biology with a specific interest in ion transporters and epigenetics.

Research Interests: Cameron's research investigates the functional and regulatory roles of SLC9C genes in mammalian sperm, DNA methylation-sensitive elements, and Na+/H+ exchangers (NHEs) as potential male contraceptive targets. His studies bridge molecular genetics and reproductive health.

Publications: Cameron has contributed to key studies on SLC9C1/SLC9C2 gene regulation, NHE11 localization, and methylation-driven gene expression in reproductive contexts.
