Caitlin Spencer is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. She holds a BA in Classics from Corpus Christi College, Oxford (2014), a PGCE with QTS from the University of Buckingham (2016), and an MA in Classics from Birkbeck College, London (2022). Her current doctoral research, funded by a Durham Doctoral Studentship, examines intertextual relationships between Seneca’s Epistulae Morales and Pliny the Younger’s letters within the context of early imperial Roman culture.
