Caitlin Spencer is a Part-Time Teacher in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Classics (2022–present), funded by a Durham Doctoral Studentship, focusing on Seneca in Pliny the Younger's Epistles. Her research examines intertextual connections between Pliny’s letters and Seneca’s philosophical writings within the cultural context of early imperial Rome.
