Professor CENGİZHAN SEZGİ is a distinguished academic in the Faculty of Medicine at Gaziantep University, specializing in Internal Medical Sciences with a focus on Pulmonary Diseases and Chest Diseases. With a career spanning over three decades, he has held academic positions at Dicle University and Gaziantep University, progressing from Assistant Professor to his current role as Professor. Dr. SEZGİ completed his medical education at Anadolu University (1986-1992) followed by medical specialization at Yuzuncuyil University (2000-2004). His professional journey includes clinical practice at Yozgat State Hospital (2004-2009) and Giresun State Hospital (1993-2000), where he served as a General Practitioner in the Emergency Department, before transitioning to academic medicine.

Dr. SEZGİ has published extensively, with 75 articles documenting his contributions to pulmonary medicine, many focusing on the unique health challenges of the Southeastern Anatolian region.
