C.-M. Michael Wong is a Postdoctoral Lecturer and Research Associate at Dartmouth College, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics. His primary research interest is low-dimensional topology, focusing on cobordisms of 3-manifolds, knots, and Floer homology. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Louisiana State University (LSU) and earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University (2017) under advisors Peter S. Ozsváth and Robert Lipshitz, with an A.B. from Princeton University (2012). He has organized seminars such as the Graduate Student Topology Seminar (Columbia) and LSU Virtual Topology Seminar. His research is supported by NSF Grant DMS-2039688 and an AMS–Simons Travel Grant.
Teaching roles include instructor positions at Dartmouth, LSU, and Columbia for courses like Calculus of Vector-Valued Functions, Topology I, and Knot Theory. He co-founded a summer research project on Legendrian knots with computational components. He has presented at numerous conferences, including ICERM, BIRS, and Boston College, focusing on geometric topology and Floer homology applications.
