Biji Wong is a Phillip Griffiths Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Duke University, affiliated with Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. His primary research focuses on low-dimensional topology, gauge theory, and Floer homologies, with applications to 3-manifolds, 4-manifolds, and knot theory. He holds a PhD from Brandeis University (2017) and has held postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, CIRGET-Université du Québec à Montréal, and McGill University. Currently, he splits his time between Duke and Rutgers University.
