Buhle Moyo

Buhle Moyo is an Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Rice University, affiliated with the College of Engineering. His research focuses on advancing gene therapy, viral vector engineering, and CRISPR/Cas9 technologies for treating diseases such as hepatitis B virus (HBV) infections and cancer. He leads the Laboratory of Biomolecular Engineering and Nanomedicine, exploring innovative solutions like AAV-based delivery systems and nanotechnology for targeted therapies.
