Bryan Rasmussen is Professor and Leland T. Jordan Professor II in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research develops advanced control strategies for energy systems including HVAC, vapor compression cycles, and industrial processes.
Honors include ASME Fellow, Charles Crawford Distinguished Teaching Award, and NSF CAREER Award. Research focuses on dynamic modeling and optimization of thermo-fluid systems for improved efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
Recent publications address electric machine design, compressed air systems, and predictive maintenance algorithms.
