Dr. Britt Regal is a Research Associate at the Productivity Institute and Centre for Sustainable Business within King’s College London. Her work focuses on collaborative governance, co-creation processes in public services, and sustainable transitions. She holds a PhD in Public Administration and previously worked as a secondary teacher and with Teach First.
Her research explores organizational coordination, cultural expectations in governance, and the interplay between profit-making entities and public interests in achieving net-zero goals. Notable projects include a UKRI-funded study on electric mobility transitions and EU Horizon 2020’s COGOV project.
Dr. Regal has contributed to courses on public management, organizational research methods, and leadership at both undergraduate and master’s levels. She is an Associate Fellow of Advance HE and has delivered guest lectures on public management innovation and collective leadership.
Her publications appear in journals like Policy and Politics and Public Management Review, addressing topics such as mayoral leadership in co-creation, governance modes across Europe, and politically designed co-creation platforms.
