Kirstie Simpson

Kirstie Simpson is Associate Professor and Dean of the Business School at the University of Chester's Faculty of Science, Business and Enterprise. With over 30 years in workforce development, she specializes in industrial decarbonisation skills transition and organizational development.

Education: MA and BSc from University of Gloucestershire; Senior Fellow (SFHEA) certification.

Research focuses on regional skills development for Net Zero economies, evidenced by her role as Principal Investigator for the Net Zero North West Cluster Plan and North West Academic Lead for IDRIC. Her £650k+ funded projects include HyNet North West deployment and industrial decarbonisation workforce studies.
