Britt Dahlberg, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) and the Director of Research at the Edward D. Viner Center for Humanism in Education and Training. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Center for Excellence in Environmental Toxicology (CEET) at Penn’s Perelman School of Medicine.

Research & Interests: Dr. Dahlberg’s work bridges social sciences, humanities, and healthcare to improve medical education, patient care equity, and interprofessional communication. She leads initiatives on medical student clerkship experiences, OB-GYN education challenges, and environmental justice. Her projects include REACH Ambler (environmental risk advocacy), The Beyond Better Project (oral histories on pandemics), and climate change art collaborations. She emphasizes mixed-methods research and mentorship through the NIH Mixed Methods Training Program.
Grants & Collaborations: Her work is funded by NIH, NSF, EPA, and ABIM. Notable projects include interprofessional communication training with Cooper University Health Care and NIH-supported mentorship roles.
