Brit Claiborne serves as Instructor of Graduate Studies at Stonehill College since 2024, specializing in mathematics education and critical pedagogies. Her work centers on mathematics teacher education as a catalyst for social change through equitable teaching practices and teacher activism.

Claiborne designs learning environments that challenge hegemonic systems in education through participatory co-design research with teachers and communities. Her methodology integrates her background as a high school mathematics teacher, community activist, and professional dance artist to explore intersections of mathematics, justice, and art. Current teaching includes Mathematics for Diverse Learners, Teaching Content Math to Diverse MS/HS Students, and Educational Equity and Inclusivity courses that emphasize reimagining educational systems for justice.
