Dr Briony Anderson is a Career Development Fellow (Criminology) in the Department of Sociology at Durham University. Her work lies at the intersection of digital criminology, feminist theory, and technology studies, with a focus on how digital technologies mediate and amplify gendered violence and privacy abuse.

Dr Anderson’s research is deeply interdisciplinary, combining digital criminology with feminist and queer theory. She specializes in:

- Police-perpetrated domestic and family violence
