Brigitte Bachmann

Brigitte Bachmann is a Lecturer in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Queen’s University, Faculty of Arts and Science. She specializes in teaching Italian and German, with a focus on second-language acquisition and cultural immersion. Her research interests include 20th-century German literature and Jewish-German women’s writings. She has been recognized for her teaching excellence, including a nomination for the Frank Knox Award in 2005 and the 2022 Champion for Mental Health award.
