Bridget Morton is an Assistant Professor of Education at Mars Hill University, teaching courses on teaching methods and learning theories. She earned her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University (2021), an M.A. in English Education from Western Carolina University (2009), and a B.A. in Literature with 9-12 Teaching Licensure from UNC-Asheville (2007).
Her research focuses on digital pedagogy and building self-efficacy for digital instruction among pre-service teachers. Prior to her academic career, she spent a decade as a high school English teacher in Buncombe County Schools, where she emphasized critical thinking, project-based learning, and writing instruction. She also held leadership roles as department chair, Balanced Literacy Team co-chair, and lead teacher on the district’s ELA team.
