Dr Brian Sengstock is an academic at Charles Sturt University specializing in healthcare equity research. His work focuses on HIV PrEP access for men who have sex with men (MSM) and gender/sexually diverse students' experiences in healthcare education. He holds a PhD in nursing students' clinical placement experiences and multiple advanced degrees including a Master of Leadership (Higher Education) and Juris Doctor.
Education Background: Holds 15+ qualifications including a Doctor of Philosophy (Nursing), Master of Laws, Master of Emergency Management, and specialized certificates in intersectionality, e-learning, and intellectual property law.
Research Interests: Explores intersectionality in healthcare education, LGBTQIA+ health equity, and paramedic cultural safety practices. His NHMRC-funded research develops m-health peer navigation systems to improve HIV PrEP uptake in regional areas.
