Dean of the School of Theology and Professor of Theology and Ethics at Seattle Pacific University (SPU), Brian Lugioyo leads the theological academic division. He holds a PhD from the University of Aberdeen and previously taught at Azusa Pacific University and Spring Arbor University. His research focuses on intersections of neuroscience and Christian anthropology, liturgical ethics, and the theology of Martin Bucer. He also authored Lamenting Racism (2020) addressing racial justice through a Christian framework.
