Brian Joseph

Brian Joseph serves as Distinguished University Professor of Linguistics and The Kenneth E. Naylor Professor of South Slavic Languages & Linguistics at Ohio State University. His research examines language evolution and historical development patterns.

His linguistic investigations focus on historical morphology and syntactic changes in Balkan languages. This work contributes to understanding language contact phenomena and diachronic linguistic processes.
