Brian Hwarng Hsingliang

Assoc Prof Brian Hwarng Hsingliang holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Analytics and Operations at the NUS Business School. He previously served in multiple academic leadership roles including Academic Director of NUS-PKU Double Degree MBA and S3 Asia MBA, and Associate Dean for Executive Education. His career spans academic leadership and industry experience as an Industrial Engineer at Delta Electronics and Materiel Systems Analyst at Allied-Signal Aerospace.

• Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, Arizona State University, USA

Research Interests: Focuses on quality management, Deming System of Profound Knowledge, Toyota Production System, chaos theory, system dynamics, and service operations optimization. His work intersects supply chain logistics, applied mathematics, and operational excellence frameworks.
