Brian Emery is a faculty member at the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema at Brooklyn College since 2020 and Technical Director of Sarah Lawrence College’s Filmmaking and Moving Image Arts program since 2008. He became a Guest Professor at Sarah Lawrence in 2018, teaching postproduction. His expertise spans film editing, cinematography, and postproduction technologies. He holds an Apple certification in Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Emery’s research and professional practice focus on advancing postproduction workflows, documentary filmmaking, and digital cinema techniques.
