Brendan Neuman

Brendan Neuman is an MSLOC Instructor at Northwestern University's School of Education & Social Policy and an Organizational Psychologist at Basil Consultants. His expertise spans organizational creativity, leadership assessment, and HR analytics. He holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Illinois Institute of Technology (2014), an MS from the same university (2009), and a BS in Psychology from Northern Illinois University (2005).

Dr. Neuman has extensive industry experience, including roles at United Airlines and Heidrick & Struggles, where he developed leadership assessment tools and HR solutions. He specializes in executive assessments, 360-degree feedback systems, and organization development across industries such as technology, finance, and transportation.

His teaching includes designing courses on organizational psychology, statistics, and creativity. He also provides pro bono consulting to Chicago arts organizations through Lawyers for the Creative Arts. His work emphasizes leveraging creative talent in leadership and fostering organizational innovation.
