Brahim El-Habib is a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, collaborating with Professors Allan Williams and Isabel Rodriguez on tourism innovation failure research. He concurrently serves as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Alicante's Department of Sociology I, teaching Research Methodology and Sociology of International Relations. His academic journey includes a PhD on minority school segregation in Spain, a DEA on Moroccan migration, and a Master's in Tourism Management.
Research focuses on tourism innovation, migration dynamics, interculturality, and social equity. Current projects investigate knowledge mobility post-entrepreneurial failure in tourism, funded by the Leverhulme Trust (£84,818, 2023–2024). He has led EU and FCDO-funded projects addressing migration challenges and Brexit impacts.
Publications span migration statistics accuracy, educational segregation, and teacher training methodologies. His work bridges academic research with practical contributions to NGOs and public policy in Spain and the EU.
