Bradley Bryan is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria. He holds advanced degrees including a PhD from UC Berkeley and an LL.M in Taxation from UBC's Allard Hall. His legal career includes practice with First Nations taxation and corporate structuring, alongside roles as a law clerk at the BC Court of Appeal and with Ecojustice. Research focuses on Indigenous legal systems, taxation law, and postcolonial legal theory. His work interrogates intersections between Indigenous economic development, corporate law frameworks, and colonial legal structures. Key publications explore legal hybridity, Indigenous personhood, and colonial legal systems. He is affiliated with the National Centre for Indigenous Laws, set to open in 2025.
