Brad Bachmeier is Professor of Art at Minnesota State University Moorhead's School of Art, specializing in ceramic arts and sculpture. An MFA graduate from University of North Dakota, his creative research explores conservation through clay with large-scale installations in medical facilities, educational institutions, and military bases.
Honors include the North Dakota Governor's Award in Arts Education and MSUM's Excellence in Research and Creative Activity award. His work has received over 40 Best of Show recognitions and appears in prominent collections including the White House and Microsoft corporate collection.
Bachmeier's brick sculptures represent a specialized form of public art, with installations at institutions like Sanford Hospital and Concordia College. Current projects focus on geological formations and indigenous cultural heritage through ceramic representations.
