Bonnie Kerr is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for Primary Education Studies at the University of Greenwich's School of Education, within the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences. She holds a first-class honours degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Master of Arts in Primary Education with a science specialism.
Her professional experience spans over a decade in education, including roles as a Year 4 Primary Teacher, ICT Coordinator at St Thomas of Canterbury C of E Junior School, and a Science Educator at the Natural History Museum in London. Previously, she lectured in Primary School Direct (Initial Teacher Education) at the University of Birmingham and now contributes to the Primary Education (2-Year Accelerated Degree) programme at Greenwich.
Bonnie's expertise focuses on integrating science education across formal and informal settings. She currently serves as a Link Tutor for School Direct programmes and supports science teaching within the School of Education. Her career highlights include collaborative work with institutions like the Natural History Museum and leadership in teacher training initiatives.
