Boluwarin Kolawole is a Lecturer in Business and Management at the University of Sunderland since 2022, previously serving as an Academic Tutor. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Strategy from Northumbria University (thesis on career management in MSMEs), an MSc in Business Analysis and Consultancy from the University of Hertfordshire, and a degree in Agricultural Economics. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, SMEs, HRM, organisational performance, innovation, and employee productivity. He teaches postgraduate and undergraduate modules including Professional Management and Leadership Development, Strategic Leadership, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
As Trans National Education (TNE) module leader for MGTM01 and PGBM141, he supervises MBA dissertations. His industry experience includes roles in customer service and hospitality. A member of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, he emphasizes student support and teaching excellence, reflected in awards for project supervision and feedback quality.
