Bolette Gylden Soussi

Bolette Gylden Soussi is a Physician Scientist at Aalborg University Hospital, affiliated with The Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Nephrology. Her research focuses on rheumatology, epidemiology, and chronic inflammatory diseases, particularly rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Her recent work examines temporal trends in mortality for RA and SLE patients using Danish population-based cohort studies, highlighting risk factors like disease subtypes, treatment duration, and comorbidities. She also investigates the epidemiology of RA subtypes, including seropositive and seronegative incidence rates.
