Patti Katz, PhD is a Professor at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, Department of Medicine. As a leading researcher in rheumatology, her work focuses on patient-reported outcomes, health communications, and psychosocial factors in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). She serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of ACR Open Rheumatology and Deputy Editor for Methodology and Biostatistics at JBJS.
