Bogdan Costea

Professor Bogdan Costea is the Head of Department and Professor of Management and Society at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). He holds an MA from the University of Bucharest and a PhD from Lancaster University, with prior roles as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Tennessee and HR Director at the Romanian Development Agency. His research explores the intersection of HRM, managerialism, and modernity, focusing on ethical responsibilities of managerial power, workplace architectures, and business ethics pedagogy using literary analysis. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on HRM and management ethics, supervises doctoral students, and examines PhD candidates at institutions like LSE.
