Birdie Reznicek serves as the Associate Dean for Culture & Community and an Associate Teaching Professor in the Social Responsibility and Sustainability Division at the University of Colorado Boulder's Leeds School of Business. She holds the distinguished title of Virginia & Edward Mitchell Faculty Scholar and maintains an active role in shaping the academic and cultural environment at Leeds.
As Associate Dean for Culture & Community, Birdie oversees critical initiatives including the Opening Doors to Achievement Team, Faculty & Staff Culture Committee, Classroom Inclusion Team, Dean's Student Cabinet, and the Community Leader-in-Residence program. Her work focuses on fostering an inclusive community marked by interdisciplinary collaboration and a culture of care at Leeds.

Birdie's research and teaching interests center around social responsibility, sustainability, business ethics, and social entrepreneurship. Her work emphasizes practical applications of ethical business practices and community engagement. She teaches CESR 4005 Business Solutions for Global Development, BCOR 1015 World of Business, and BCOR 2302 Business Ethics & Social Responsibility, providing students with hands-on experience in social impact consulting and ethical decision-making.

Birdie previously served as the Managing Director of the Center for Ethics & Social Responsibility and Faculty Director of the Social Responsibility & Ethics Certificate. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Leadership for Educational Equity in Higher Education at CU Denver's School of Education & Human Development and serves on the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation Grants Committee. Her professional background includes social entrepreneurship experience as Enterprise Director for Golden Gate Community Inc, as well as corporate roles at Booz Allen Hamilton and MetLife.
