Dr. Bingbing Ge is a Lecturer in the Department of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). Her research focuses on family business management, entrepreneurship, and strategy, particularly exploring the role of knowledge, history, and stories in family business succession and identity. She contributes to knowledge exchange initiatives like the Family Business Excellence Programme and collaborates with Entrepreneurs in Residence.
She holds the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK. Her work integrates historical narratives and rhetorical analysis to address strategic challenges in family firms, including gender dynamics, racializing entrepreneurship, and ESG integration. She is affiliated with the Centre for Family Business and the Academy for Gender and Social Justice Research in Organisations.
Key research projects include 'ESG in Family Firms: A Review of Research and Practice' (2024-2025) and studies on family business succession strategies. She advises PhD students Mo Abbasi, Patrik Hayoz, and Yingting Zhu, with some serving as Associate Lecturers. Her publications span journals like Management and Organization Review and Business History, emphasizing family business authenticity, crisis resilience, and strategic history use.
