Beverley Tarquini

Beverley Tarquini is a Senior Lecturer in Publishing at the School of Arts, University of Oxford Brookes. She joined permanently in 2006 after freelance teaching and industry experience in publishing sales and editorial roles. Her expertise spans educational publications, academic monographs, and trade titles.

• Education: Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education, Associate Teacher’s Accreditation, MA (Hons) in English Literature.

Her teaching focuses on editorial commissioning, publishing list development, editorial management, and rights management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Research interests include educational and academic publishing trends and employability. She leads multiple modules, including U65021, U65082, P65022, and P65027.

Beverley maintains freelance editing work for publishers and co-manages work experience placements for publishing students. She is a member of the Association of Publishing Education (APE).
