Bethany E. Monteith

Dr. Bethany E. Monteith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen’s University, with a cross-appointment in the Department of Oncology. She specializes in hematology, particularly malignant hematology and plasma cell dyscrasias. Her research focuses on cost-effectiveness analyses in multiple myeloma, improving clinical trial access for hematology patients, and optimizing healthcare resource utilization. Dr. Monteith completed her BScKin at the University of New Brunswick, an MD from the University of Ottawa, and residencies in internal medicine and hematology at Queen’s University. She holds a Master of Science in Translational Medicine and is affiliated with the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (myeloma and lymphoma working groups) and the Canadian Myeloma Research Group.
