Aimaz Afrough

Aimaz Afrough, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in hematology and oncology with a focus on multiple myeloma and plasma cell dyscrasias. She is a member of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, actively researching novel therapies including CAR T-cell treatments and cellular immunotherapies.

Education: Earned her M.D. from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (Iran), completed residency in internal medicine at St. Agnes Hospital (Baltimore), and fellowships in hematology/oncology at Baylor College of Medicine and stem cell transplantation at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
