Berna Zengin Arslan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at Özyeğin University. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2009), an MSc in Gender and Women's Studies from Middle East Technical University (2000), and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bilkent University (1996).
