Benjamin M. Reist is a Principal Statistician at NORC at the University of Chicago and an Assistant Adjunct Research Professor at the University of Maryland's Joint Program in Survey Methodology. He specializes in survey design, data governance, and privacy-preserving methodologies. His work oversees large-scale federal surveys like the High School and Beyond Follow-up Survey (HS&B) and the Survey of Doctoral Recipients (SDR), emphasizing adaptive techniques and disclosure avoidance strategies.
Education: PhD from University of Maryland, MS degrees from George Washington University and University of Vermont, and a BA from University of Vermont.
