Benjamin Kofi Nutor is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Archaeological-Ecology Laboratory at Texas A&M University's Department of Anthropology. His research focuses on historical anthropology and archaeology of the Atlantic slave trade in West Africa, particularly examining how colonialism impacted Indigenous communities in Eastern Ghana. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin (2021).
