Benjamin Awuah is a Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the Aberystwyth Business School, Aberystwyth University. His research focuses on sustainability accounting, ESG, corporate governance, and auditing, particularly exploring how corporate reporting aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the influence of CEO narcissism on disclosure behavior. He holds an M.Phil and B.Ed from Ghana, and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in Ghana. His teaching responsibilities include modules such as Corporate Governance, Risk and Ethics, and The Role and Practice of Auditing.

Research Interests: Ben’s PhD project examines SDG reporting mechanisms and their role in corporate accountability, alongside psychological factors like CEO narcissism. His work bridges accounting practices with global sustainability frameworks, emphasizing transparency and ethical governance.
Recent Publications: Ben’s 2024 studies explore CEO narcissism’s impact on SDG reporting and provide a structured literature review on SDG reporting frameworks. Earlier work includes analyses of sustainable procurement practices in Ghana and the adoption of technology in auditing sectors.
Teaching & Advising: Ben coordinates and lectures on modules such as AB21320 and AB21620, focusing on governance, auditing, and ethical practices.
