Bengu Erguner-Tekinalp, PhD, is a Professor of Education at Drake University's School of Education. Her roles include serving on boards for organizations such as the Iowa School Counselors Association, North American Society of Adlerian Psychology, and editorial boards for journals like the Journal of School Counseling. She holds a BS and MS from Middle East Technical University (Turkey) and a PhD from Auburn University.
Her research focuses on cross-cultural counseling, positive psychology, school counseling, mindfulness, and Adlerian Psychology. She teaches courses such as Counseling Diverse Populations, Theories of Counseling, and Human Development.
